A Seed of Dreams
Every dream is a seed
Planted deep inside
Waiting to grow
To bloom and to shine
The seed inside of me
Watered daily
Nurtured with care
Simply still has nothing to bear
The soil is damp
The sun is strong
The one thing stays stagnant
The root unformed
It’s just a seed
Laying in the ground
Patiently waiting
For my dreams to go beyond

Friends always ask me where do I find the strength to hold on to my dreams despite all the challenges that life has threw onto my path. Some view my determination to publish my own writings as nothing but just a dream. Some admire my perseverance in running towards my dream of becoming a novelist but doubt if I’d make it in the mere future. It was their seeds of disbelieve and doubts that push me further to want to prove them wrong; that indeed with determination to succeed, we can all achieve the very dream which we have once believed in when we were still a child. We just need that child-like faith to complete what we have begun. We just need to believe in ourselves when no one believes in us anymore. Persevere and your dreams will come true. Because if you don’t believe it, how can you make it come true?

what’s ur word count so far?
I rested one day, so the count is 2000 words. I think I am going so slow…. I keep contemplating if I should write another story instead because I just feel strongly for another one. Remember I told you about The Kingdom Of Memos, Folders and Cubicles? Maybe that one…
Yours?
