After reading through all the entries posted on Cybermate’s Dungeon – Share Your Coolest April Fool’s Story, I’ve found one particular simple prank that everyone shouldn’t be falling into on April Fool’s Day – yet they did exactly just that. Even family members fall for it! Here’s the winning entry by Michelle:
Just wanted to share my april fools prank I thought I’d go a bit crazy this year and change my Facebook relationship status from ‘Single’ to ‘In a relationship’. It’s only been six hours since the change, and already people are leaving comments and sms-ing me asking for details. Haha. My younger brother panicked and asked whether he could tell our mum. I said “Go ahead, but first ask yourself what day this is.”
Flo herself texted me. Went something like this:
“Michelle, Congratulations!. So, who’s the new heartthrob”
Reply: “Oil palms. Happy April Fool’s Day”
Flo: LOL. Post tat(sic) up in Gina’s website……….
The reason why this simple yet effective prank won the coolest April Fool’s story is because Michelle’s own brother fell for it too! And you think siblings know you best. Haha!
