Have you ever felt like you have known someone for ages long,
When you only just met each other and became friends?
Have you ever felt like you have been friends for a long time,
When you only got to know each other a few days ago?

Could it be because the friendship was already destined by God,
In this place, at this very moment, for a special purpose?
Two people sharing a strong bond with unknown reasons,
Could it be that we’ve stumbled onto each other by coincidence?

It felt like I have been your friend for a long, long time,
You made me feel like I’ve known you since I was born.

If one day our paths no longer overlap and we have to part,
Each living in different worlds, our journeys separate us apart.

In our life, there is someone who will always be true; there is a friend who will always be real. But we will not always have that someone in our life; we will not always have that someone in every stage of our life. We’d have to learn to let go of that someone at one point of our life so that we can both soar up high and rise to our destiny. So that at the end of the journey, we can look forward to meeting each other again and call out, “Friend, what took you so long!” Some friendships are meant to comfort you along the way; others are friendships destined to encourage us to complete our race on earth.
