Free Giveaway: Father’s Day Postcards

Submitted by on May 24, 2011 – 12:256 Comments

Father’s Day is around the corner! And I am feeling rather generous at this time of the year. So I’ve contacted cartoonist Ernest Ng to work on a collaboration project with me in conjunction with Father’s Day. It’s a series of postcards related to FATHERS.

For those of you who have been following Ernest’s weekly comic, here’s the chance to keep a physical copy of his drawings (for the very first time) and present one to your father too! Nothing expresses your love more than a heartwarming postcard to your father, added with a pinch of humour that would surely draw a smile on his face.

We have worked on 3 designs for this collection. Each design will be printed on a glossy artcard and the back page will be writeable so that you can pen your message. A total of 250 postcards to be given away! Check out the artwork below and tell us which one is your favourite!

Based on the vote results, only one design will be printed and given out. Voting closes on 31st May 2011, so cast your vote today!

Which is your favourite postcard design?

  • Option 3 - Types of Father (41%, 21 Votes)
  • Option 2 - Superhero (37%, 19 Votes)
  • Option 1 - Borrow Car (22%, 11 Votes)

Total Voters: 51

Stand a chance to win the postcards by completing this sentence: I love my father because… (not more than 15 words) and email your entry to with your full name, delivery address and contact number.

Note: All printing cost and post delivery cost are borned by Cmate Communications (my freelance business label). Only 5 readers will be chosen and each selected reader who is entitled for this giveaway will receive 50 pieces of postcard. Winners will be notified via email. Should the postcards go missing during the delivery process, resend is not possible.

Latest Update (6 June 2011): The winners are Michelle Tai, Kimberly Koay, Noor Aidawaty, Sze Ru Shan and Diane Lee. The postcards have been mailed out today via POS Malaysia. So look out for them, ladies! Ah yes, all the winners are ladies. What happened to all the men?
