I’ve been working on a Merdeka Campaign at work for this National Day Celebration and have explore various ways to bring out the patriotic spirit through visuals that do not involve photography. It’s a challenge. There are many things which can express or symbolises the spirit of Merdeka, but somehow the weight of the spirit is lessen when illustrated on screen. Afterall, I am not a genius illustrator. But I try.
