My title remained the same but my roles keep expanding ever since I took up the job LOL! But it’s good to share, so all will know what they are diving into when they take on a job. So what do you work as – as in your real title? LOL!

Yup, it’s so true. Different workscope for same positions anywhere in the world… so really have to ask the future employee properly as to the jobscope and expectations of the position.

basically, the scope of responsibility of a Branding person and a Marketeer depends on the company, i definitely agree… For an MNC company I worked for previously, I had a Branding role but the job scope covers everything that a typical marketeer would do (which is taking care of the 4Cs – or more Cs nowadays)…

In an ad agency, Brand Execs does client servicing.. In Petronas, a marketeer takes care of the product and pricing only..

So basically, dont be fooled by job titles… Read the fine print, I mean the job scope thoroughly
