Our Mysterious Goodbye
I know where you’ll hangout all the time,
Exactly which spot you’ll be in spotlight lime.
I know who will be there surrounding you,
Befriending you through and through.
The many times we’ve been together,
You showed me things, yours truly matter.
Now that we’ve walked our separate ways,
I know very well just how to turn away.
At the corner, I turn and you are there,
Not a surprise, I don’t care what you wear.
My eyes keep straight, your eyes I won’t meet,
A reminder that you’ve become a transparent sheet.
Your eyes piercing into every bit of me,
You see me but I don’t see you in me.
You don’t understand why it ended,
Neither do I but I accept that it’s fated.
Our bond was special between you and me,
But our relationship was not meant to be.
To bid farewell would bring misery,
But walking out makes us a mystery.
A puzzle everyone tries to solve,
But the key players, me and you, choose to dissolve.
Let mystery be mystery, keep them guessing,
At the end of the day, I am still leaving.
Goodbye, my lover, goodbye.
Don’t turn around or let out a sigh.
Some things are not meant to be,
The perfect example of you and me.
We can’t explain to the world or ourselves,
Deep inside we just know in ourselves,
A mystery lies between you and me
Parting ways is the way things have to be.

Sometimes you don’t know why you have to say goodbye. You just know deep inside that bidding farewell is the right thing to do. That sometimes in life, you just have to do what you have to do. That not being able to hold on is beyond your control. Because every beginning has to come to an end. And this is the end. Embrace it. And move on.

speechless, your poem made me…
Made you… erm… did I almost say all the words your heart wanted to say?
Probably…problem is whether i actually said it out or let them remain in my heart…
