Free Vector: Red Lantern for Chinese New Year
Chinese New Year (CNY) in 2010 will be a memorable day for many, especially couples who will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on the very same day. It’s going to be a time of festive and a time of love. As 14th of February draws nearer, more and more people at getting excited at the celebration.
And it’s during this time that we as designers are drawing lots of significant CNY elements such as red lanterns, golden parcels, horoscope design, red packet design, greeting cards, etc. We would start working on CNY campaigns for our clients way back in December – always two months ahead. But not all clients are forward thinking. So some of us are left to rush off last-minute CNY visuals. And the first resources for ideas and time-saver is the internet.
Here’s sharing a Red Lantern vector with all of you. I was looking for inspiration for a t-shirt design (not CNY related), but just felt like drawing something red and prosperous to cheer myself up while I struggle with designer’s block. Since many of you loved the Paper Lantern vector I shared earlier, I thought you guys might like this as well.
